I got some bittersweet news about the movie Half Empty that was set to start rolling next weekend. The good news is that we now have an Emmy award winning cinematographer on board for the project. The bad news is that we won’t start shooting until February of 2010. The film gets a boost, but my patience suffers. Ultimately I think it will be good for the project, it’s just a bummer to wait.
I haven’t even been looking at other breakdowns or auditions because I thought my time was spoken for this summer, so I feel majorly behind right now. The postponement of Half Empty has kind of moved up The Next Nine though, so I should be able to get started on that sometime soon I hope.
I’m pretty excited about being on tv next Wednesday. Everybody better be watching Leverage at 9pm on TNT for me! I’m one of two waitresses in the country club scenes. I hope I’m not completely blurred out of the shot. I hope you can at least recognize me as me. Yay!
I’m going to take some new headshots of myself very soon, because what I have doesn’t really cut it. The General has an amazing camera and both of us have pretty good photographic skillz so I’m certain we can take some great shots all by ourselves. Hey, maybe I can start a headshot taking business! Those bastards make a killing! I’d do it for cheaper to get an edge until I got a decent portfolio going.
