About Carollani

Carollani was born in Honolulu and raised in Eastern Washington (and is still a little bitter about that, heh).  She moved to Seattle in 1999 to attend The Art Institute of Seattle.  There she earned an Associate of Applied Arts degree in Multimedia and Web Design.  Just a month or two after graduating, Carollani was in a car that was struck by a semi-truck on the highway.

She sustained multiple life-threatening injuries and was resuscitated on site several times.  She was flown to Harborview Medical Center where she received the best trauma care possible (seriously, they were amazing).  While in the hospital for a month she underwent many surgeries (15+ to-date!) to sustain her life and put her back together.  She was moved from the hospital to a nursing home where she lived for two more months (she would rather die than return to a nursing home ever again).  She spent the next several years rehabilitating her body and trying to piece her life back together.  (It takes time, people.)

Feeling pressured to get work she finally got into the profession she prepared for in college: web design and art production.  She worked in that field for several years but grew increasingly anxious to fulfill her dream of acting.  When she was let go from her job at a local bank during the stock market crash at the end of 2008, she realized that this was her chance to finally pursue her dream(Don’t bring around a cloud to rain on my parade!)

Since then she’s been working tirelessly toward becoming the best actress she can be.  Carollani is eagerly gobbling up any advice and experience that helps her to grow as an actress, and loves cultivating relationships with people who can teach her how to be better.  Her girlfriend (aka The General) has been very supportive, even though cash flow has slowed to a trickle.

She’s been in several local independent short films, has a supporting role in a full length feature film that is currently in production, and has been a featured extra on the TNT television series Leverage a couple times.  (See resume here.)
