Brad’s in it too, so that should be fun.

On Saturday I’m going to Supercross with my girlfriend and my bro in law and nephews. All I ask of The General is to keep an open mind, heh.

On Sunday we start shooting that college comedy I talked about before.  I have no concept of how that’s going to go at all.  It should be interesting.

My big news though, is that the director of Half Empty (the movie I want so bad) wants me to read for him again.  He seems pretty intense about making sure I’m exactly the right one for the role, but it’s his intensity and the sensitive script that make me feel like the movie is going to be great.  I hope the call back goes really well.  Getting the part would be a big sacrifice of my summer weekends and precious time with The General, but I think it could turn into something really amazing.  I hope so anyway.

We had such a good time and it was so nice to be away from everything. We bought kites–4 of them, heh. The first two broke almost immediately, so we bought two more that were actually built to withstand wind. It was great. We spent one day on the beach playing frisbee and reading after we went to the Tillamook factory. It was pretty much awesome.

Anyway, it’s hard getting back into the swing of things. It’s a good thing Brad is staying on the grind because he let me know about the Intiman auditions this Friday. I also have an audition on Saturday that I’m really excited about. I’m trying to get focused and get my monologues down pat, but there are so many distractions. I’ll get it though.
